White water rafting in Bali
Bali rafting or white water rafting in Bali is one activity that you must to do while your vacation in Bali . Test your adrenaline and feel the sensation of how the thrill of conquering the rapids of the river with family and your friends.
There are 3 (three) rivers which you can try for white water rafting in Bali. The first is Melangit river, this river is located in Klungkung area around 1:30 minutes from Kuta. The rafting track of melangit river is about 8 km and can be reached about 1.5 – 2 hours. It’s the shortest rafting track if compared to other rafting sites in bali, but this river has rapids class with mostly level 2 – 3, so you will feel the excitement of along rafting activities and also enjoy the beauty of tropical forests Bali.
The 2nd is Telaga Waja river, the river is located in muncen karangasem area around 2 hours from Kuta, and it is the favorite places for rafting in Bali. This river has the longest rafting track, it’s about 16 km which can be reached about 3 hours. Most of the rapids in Telaga Waja rafting is level 1-2 but you will also find rapids level 3 and 4 at a certain moment. Telaga Waja rafting is suitable for beginners or who invites small children and the elderly because of easy access to the river and do not require a lot of walk.
And the last is Ayung river, located in Ubud area around 1:45 minutes from Kuta. The river is slightly larger than the melangit river with rapids level 2 & 3 (most), and have access a more difficult and thus require strong legs to get to the rafting start point, but if youcan overcome it, you will get an incredible rafting experience on this river. Ayung River Rafting in Bali is suitable for those of you who are love sports / adventure. (not recommended for small children and the elderly).
